A pointer to a web page or file from the text, images or other page element. On the Internet, hyperlinks are the primary means of transitions between web pages and web sites. Hyperlinks are sometimes referred to as links. Hyperlink can be text or a picture. Textual hyperlink is a word or phrase that has been assigned a URL destination.
